Breads Unlimited opened in Bethesda in 1981. The sense of tradition that was evident in its offerings from the start continues to this day. It all started when George Raab and his wife Leondra fled Austria in 1938 for the safety of the United States and opened their own bakery. Years later, their son Steven followed in his parents’ footsteps and opened Breads Unlimited.

Tout De Sweet Pastry Shop, located at 7831 Woodmont Ave, Bethesda which is an 11 minute walk from your Elm apartment, is a quaint bakery whipping up macarons, cupcakes, cakes, pies and tarts in eclectic flavors.

With collaboration from local farms and vendors, Tout De Sweet Pastry Shop recreates classic European and American confections with exciting twists. Plus, the shop’s clean and chic design is inviting, making it a great atmosphere for catching up with friends, enjoying a decadent European style breakfast, or to calm a dessert craving.
