Every July 14, the French celebrate Bastille Day, which marks the anniversary of the Storming of the Bastille in 1789, a major event of the French Revolution. Here in Bethesda, we’re a ways away from the Eiffel Tower and Arc de Triomphe, but we can still celebrate the holiday at home in the United States.
