South Street Steaks, located at 4911 Rugby Ave, Bethesda which is four minutes from your Elm apartment, is a counter-service source for Philadelphia-style cheesesteaks and hoagies using Amoroso rolls and steak imported from Philadelphia.

South Street Steaks was formed because the owners saw a need for real Philadelphia-style cheesesteaks and hoagies in the area. South Street also uses Kraft Cheez whiz, the same cheese that is used at Pat’s, Geno’s and Jim’s in South Philadelphia.
