It’s Rosé All Day at These Bethesda Wine Destinations
Category: UncategorizedHere in Bethesda, a beautiful June day with the sun shining and gentle breeze through the air means one thing – rose all day! That’s especially true on June 12, which is National Rose Day.
You can enjoy as many glasses of rose as you please near our Elm apartments, where there are tons of bars and restaurants specializing in great wine selections. Looking to unwind with a glass of rose – or a few? Visit these spots without venturing too far from home for a truly relaxing afternoon.
Cesco Osteria & Co2 Lounge, located at 7401 Woodmont Ave, Bethesda which is a five minute walk from your Elm apartment, serves Northern Italian food in a wood-lined room with a lively bar and a big patio with torches.
Co2 Lounge offers 8-10 quality wines by the glass, draft beers and a wide variety of traditional and signature artisan cocktails in a dramatically lit, airy spot. With 22 seats at the bar, 6 glass and bentwood high top tables and lounge seating for up to 20, it’s a perfect pre- or post-dinner, happy hour and leisure cocktail venue.
Guardado’s Restaurant, located at 4918 Del Ray Ave, Bethesda which is a three minute drive from your Elm apartment, is a homey, sun-colored restaurant serving Spanish-Latin dishes, including tapas and paella, as well as a huge wine list.
Chef Nicolas Guardado and his wife Reyna opened Guardado’s Restaurant in 2007. Guardado brought with him a wealth of experience, rising quickly through the ranks at local area tapas restaurant Jaleo to become a seasoned head chef. Now, he is infusing that knowledge into his own restaurant, as well as adding some popular Latin American entrees and some traditional dishes from his native Salvadorean background to Guardado’s extensive menu.
