Ruth’s Chris Steak House, located at 7315 Wisconsin Ave, Bethesda which is across the street from your Elm apartment, is an outpost of upmarket steakhouse chain known for sizzling, butter-topped beef served in an elegant setting. Here, soaring ceilings and dark wood complement the inside of the steakhouse dining room, offering a warm, comfortable atmosphere.

The steakhouse was founded by Ruth Fertel, known as the “first lady of steak.” From a 60-seat steakhouse, she built a business that spans the globe, but never lost sight of her original recipe for success – perfect steak, warm hospitality and good times that never stop rolling.

Medium Rare, located at 4904 Fairmont Ave, Bethesda which is a 10 minute walk from your Elm apartment, is a modern bistro offering a single set menu of bread, salad, fries and a dry-aged sirloin, plus brunch.
